Do you know that, South Africa has one of the highest incidents of reported rape cases in the world, with a shockingly figures of 1.7 millions women are raped each year. As part of the inspiration to address the rise of the rape cases, Rapex (Rape-aXe) was born. The controversial anti-rape device was invented by Sonette Ehlers a South African woman.
She describes the device as an anti-rape female condom. Women would need to wear the condom (always, I guess) and if they’re raped, the condom folds around the perpetrator’s penis and attaches itself with microscopic hooks. It will cause the attacker excruciating pain during withdrawal and (ideally) giving the victim time to escape. And another main point is, it’s impossible to remove without medical intervention.
The whole thing, just reminded me of the movie “The Teeth” starring by Jess Weixler, who her vagina had teeth on it.
So beware guys, don’t be naughty else you will get bite! And for those girl out there, do get yourself one of those for your own protection.
